What does pet door installation actually involve?+
Measuring your door, making a new glass panel with the flap opening, tempering and double-glazing it, then fitting the panel and testing the flap. We install manual cat flaps (regular and large), microchip cat flaps, and dog doors in medium, large and extra-large, in glass, aluminium, window and screen doors.
Can you cut a hole in my existing glass for a pet door?+
Glass in UAE doors is tempered for safety, and tempered glass shatters if you try to cut it. So we build a new panel with the opening cut before tempering, then fit it in place of your old panel.
Which door types do you fit pet doors in?+
Sliding doors, French doors, patio doors, aluminium doors, screen doors, fixed glass panels, double-glazed units and windows. If your door or panel is glass or aluminium, we can almost certainly fit a flap in it.
Manual flap or microchip flap: which should I choose?+
A manual flap pushes open for any animal. A microchip flap reads the chip your vet implanted in your cat: it unlocks for your cat and stays locked for everything else. In areas with confident strays, the microchip flap is the one most people ask for.
I rent my home. Can I still get a pet door?+
Yes. We make rental-friendly inserts: a slim aluminium panel that sits in your existing door track, fixed with silicon only. No screws, no damage to your frames, and invisible once removed. You keep the original glass too, so it goes straight back in when you move out.
Will hot air get through around the new panel?+
A small gap remains where two sliding panels interlock, and weather strips seal it against hot air and dust. Sometimes the strips are included in your offer, sometimes a AED 250 add-on. We tell you which before you agree to anything.
