Dog doors in Masaar
Masaar's gardens are big enough for a dog to actually run, which is why most of our dog-door jobs here are for medium and large breeds. The flap sits in a new glass panel in your sliding or patio door, so the dog goes out on its own schedule.
We fit three sizes: M with a 21.0x31.1 cm opening, right for a French Bulldog; L at 26.0x41.3 cm, right for a Beagle; and XL at 34.9x60.3 cm, right for a Labrador. We measure your dog and your door before we cut anything.

Cat flaps in Masaar
Cats in Masaar have the run of gardens and, very often, the run of the neighbours' gardens too. A microchip flap keeps that one-way: it reads your cat's implanted chip and unlocks only for them, so strange or aggressive cats cannot follow them in.
For indoor-outdoor cats, the flap usually goes into the sliding door to the garden. We fit manual flaps in regular and large sizes, and cats over 4.5 kg need the large one.

We make a new panel
We cut a brand new panel to size with the flap opening in it, then temper and double-glaze it. Your existing glass is never cut, and you keep it.
We fit it your way
Renters get a silicon-fixed insert that leaves frames untouched. Owners get the same clean finish fitted into the frame. Either way, weather strips close the gap where our panel meets your sliding door's interlock.
We test the flap
On a microchip flap we program your cat's chip on the spot and watch it unlock. Then we check the seal, the slide and the lock.
Questions about fitting in Masaar.
Should the flap go in my sliding door or a fixed panel?+
Whichever your cat or dog will use more. In Masaar the sliding door to the garden is the usual pick, because it is the door everyone uses. A fixed panel works just as well if you want the sliding door left alone.
I rent my villa. Will the landlord's glass be touched?+
No. Your glass stays exactly as it is. The flap sits in a new panel we make, fixed with silicon only, and you keep your original glass to put back when you move out.
There are stray cats around. Will they come through the flap?+
Not with a microchip flap. It reads your cat's implanted chip and stays locked for every other animal, which solves the stray-cat problem completely.
Will the new glass look different from my other windows?+
Slightly, sometimes. We match reflective glass in gray, green, brown, blue or transparent as closely as possible, but a 100% match is not possible. Most owners stop noticing it within a day.
